Recruiting Coordinator – Vancouver, WA

NW Staffing Resources is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our Vancouver team.  This is a great opportunity to bring your customer service and administrative skills to a growing organization where you will gain valuable human resources and staffing experience.

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA (Downtown Vancouver close to the waterfront).
• Company-paid parking or public transportation pass is offered.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm.
• Potential for a hybrid work schedule of four days per week in office, one day remote, depending on branch performance.

SALARY & BENEFITS: $19.40 to $22.00/hour DOE.

THE ROLE
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for organizing office processes, assisting applicants and Recruiters, and general administrative duties.  A successful Recruiting Coordinator must have exceptional customer service skills and strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects with frequent interruptions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greeting the public, answering incoming calls, and transferring to the correct resource.
• Assist applicants through the hiring process from submitting applications to interviewing with Recruiters and completing paperwork with required signatures and identification.
• Complete employment references, process background checks, and schedule drug screenings.
• Handle data entry, including payroll entry for the branch, as well as all filing needs.

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES
• 1-2 years of customer service and/or administrative assistant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and efficient data entry skills.
• Excellent and professional communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong critical thinking skills to work through challenges and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field will be considered but is not required.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check upon acceptance of an offer.
